   NExt Steps

After carefully reviewing all of the previous pages of this site, if you think that you would like to enroll in the services offered by SDF, the first step in the enrollment process is to fill out and submit the Questionnaire below. If you conscientiously take the effort to complete this series of questions, SDF will not leave you hanging. You can expect to receive an email response within 48 hours in most cases, which will inform you whether or not you are a potentially compatible client of the service.

If your Financial Advocate determines that you may be well suited for the program, the response that you receive will provide you with options for scheduling a telephone interview in order to clarify all of the terms of the service and ascertain whether you are still interested in proceeding further. If indeed you are still enthusiastic about enrolling at that point, you will need to sign a contract and a Limited Specific Power of Attorney document (which gives your Financial Advocate the necessary autonomy to perform only certain financially-based functions on your behalf), and return them with a photocopy of your state identification and your Social Security card.

The next step involves setting up a common email address with your preference of either Gmail or Yahoo, which you and your Financial Advocate will both be utilizing for the management of your finances. This email account is only to be used for these financially-based activities and not to be given to anyone else for social networking or personal communications of any kind. Your Financial Advocate will never share your password with anyone, and it is highly recommended that you don’t either.

Once your email account has been created, your Financial Advocate will guide you through the steps of opening and funding your hubbaccount with CIT Bank and making the Financial Advocate an authorized user on the account. You will also need to give your Financial Advocate access to the online management of your direct deposit(s) and any preexisting profiles for the online management of your creditors and debtors (or the latitude to create these online profiles if they don’t already exist). After these initial steps have been completed, your Financial Advocate will assess the circumstances of your individual situation and begin restructuring the directional flow of your finances in such a manner that you can begin to enjoy the maximum amount of interest on your income and savings (if any) and the optimum amount of cash back on all of your purchases and regular expenses, and you will be off and running on the road to experiencing the many benefits that the service has to offer.

Before proceeding any further, please take the time to carefully review the other pages of the site (especially the FAQ page) to ensure that you fully understand the ramifications of enrolling in the program. If you are one half of a married couple or a domestic partnership that shares its finances, please discuss this option with your spouse or significant other very thoroughly before investing your time in filling out the questionnaire. Also, please take a moment to review your credit score if you haven’t familiarized yourself with it in the last thirty days by going to either https://www.myfico.com/free or https://www.creditkarma.com, as this information can be helpful to your Financial Advocate when assessing your completed questionnaire. If you would like to ask any additional questions that were not covered on the previous pages of the site before completing the questionnaire, you may skip to the bottom and simply submit your name and contact information, along with your question(s).

Questionnaire Extraordinaire

The following is a series of questions designed to assist SDF in determining whether you might be a compatible client of the service and if you are someone who would be likely to benefit from what the program has to offer. Please take the time to thoroughly review all of the choices for each question before selecting your answer, and kindly make every effort to answer all thirty-three of the questions honestly to the best of your ability. Please do not hesitate to fill out the field at the bottom when listing your contact information if there is anything else that you would like your Financial Advocate to take into consideration when reviewing your responses to the questionnaire. The more information you provide, the better your Financial Advocate will be able to accurately assess your individual circumstances and make a knowledgeable determination as to whether it would be mutually beneficial to proceed any further with the enrollment process. Please be assured that SDF won’t reject you as a prospective client just because of your age, your income, or your marital status.
